Governor Green Releases $500K For DA BUX

We're excited to announce that Governor Josh Green has released $500,000 from the State to go toward DA BUX incentives. These funds will continue to help SNAP-EBT families afford more fruits and vegetables, and will strengthen our request for federal funds from the USDA's GusNIP program which requires a 100% match. We thank Gov. Green for his support of the program.

Hawaii has seen a sharp rise in the need for food-assistance programs since the pandemic and DA BUX meets this need while also supporting farmers and the local community in addition to providing food assistance to those who need it most.
